Planetary Divisions Explorer

The Planetary Divisions Explorer is the relaunch and rebrand of my Planetary Divisions Calculator. Just as before, the new Planetary Divisions Explorer allows the user to calculate the divisions of minor periods and ascensional times in a natal chart in the style of Hellenistic astrologer Vettius Valens. Some of the new updates include:

• The use of API’s in order to automatically calculate planetary positions and astronomical points
• The automatic calculation of ascensional times
• A redesigned Chronology tab to show the beginnings and endings of a given activation, with an expanded and contracted view
• The ability to turn the activations for particular planets on or off
• The ability to specify your orb degree preferences

I hope you’ll enjoy using the calculator to more easily explore this curious astrological technique from antiquity.
